One of the interesting things about Horta’s Marina is that, everyday, ships arrive from around the Atlantic. In a morning stroll through the Marina you always find someone or something new, being some battered old sailing ship in a welcome short break from a transat crossing, or some huge luxury yacht or, as in the case this morning, a classical leisure and racing sailing boat.
The 65 feet cutter, FAÏAOAHE, from La Trinité Sur Mer arrived this morning with a crew of four. This classical boat came out of the drawing board of naval architect Guy Ribadeau Dumas, and she’s definitely a beauty. Welcome to Faial!
